RealCart 2.0.8.6 has updated Authorize.Net functionality, a new PayPal “Express Lane” department page that works with PayPal. The Express Lane page allows the purchase of any single item instantly by clicking the PayPal button. This page is handy for people who are Java challenged as it requires no Java to enable people to pay for their items even if they are running Netscape version 1.
RealCart 2.0.8.5 is a mandatory direct upgrade from version 2.0.8.4, originally released with a faulty installer. RealCart 2.0.8.5 also includes improved support for Authorize.Net’s SIM method. Download and install RealCart 2.0.8.5 now if you previously installed version 2.0.8.4 as a “new install” on your computer.
If you previously installed a version EARLIER than version 2.0.8.4 and only recently upgraded to version 2.0.8.4 then you are unaffected by this bug and do not need to download anything else. If you have just installed version 2.0.8.4 as a brand new installation, however, you must upgrade immediately.
Authorize.Net SIM integration now available for PHP platform
RealCart.com has been aware of, and working on a solution to the upcoming change with Authorize.Net’s payment gateway integration. Effective April 15, 2003 Authorize.Net will no longer support the WebLink method. Version 2.0.8.3 and earlier versions of RealCart use Authorize.Net WebLink as the method by which it connects to the Authorize.Net payment gateway.
RealCart version 2.0.8.4 is now available which includes the new Authorize.Net SIM integration method for PHP platforms. If you are running on a UNIX/Linux web server or if your Windows server runs PHP then download version 2.0.8.4 to integrate Authorize.Net SIM into your RealCart installation. Just install this version directly over your current version for best results. As always, backups are recommended before making any changes to your system.
Today we released a minor update that corrects a problem with the PayPal interface. There is no need to upgrade from version 2.0.8.0 unless you utilize PayPal in your checkout page. If you have not already upgraded to version 2.0.8.0 then please download and install this update.
